After a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Insurance, Veerle obtained a master’s degree in Applied Economics and successfully completed her teacher training at Ghent University. For her first work experience, Veerle returned to where she started, the insurance world, in which she has been active since 2012. After going through a number of positions within the same company and an experience as a guest lecturer at Hogeschool Gent, it was time for a new challenge.
“Under the motto ‘Standing still is going backwards’, I very much want to be part of the transformation of the insurance world. When I got to know Oxygen and immediately felt the hands-on mentality and belief in employees, the choice was quickly made. Let’s take big steps forward in digitalisation together and make beautiful projects come true. I look forward to seeing implementations work.”
