Jolien graduated as a bio-engineer. After 3 years as a researcher, she made the switch to the insurance world where she started as a business analyst. As a true expert and with a passion for efficiency and automation, she leads a team of consultants at Oxygen in the Business Solutions service line. Her hobbies appeal to her creative side. She indulges in pottery and painting.

You can always count on him
Miguel gained experience in policy management and migration. Since 2019, he has been on board at Oxygen to focus on project work. In his free time, he plays badminton at level and enjoys gastronomy and travelling.

Dieter Kennes
An empathic and result-oriented jack-of-all-trades
After a trip around the world and three years as a recruiter for the insurance industry, Dieter made the step to Oxygen. He recruits new colleagues and supports the team in various tasks. In his free time, Dieter is a passionate cook and has a strong interest in travelling and cycling.

Jessica Schroeder
Going for it and connecting, always with a smile
Jessica learned the trade in production and in damage non-life. Attracted by the challenges of the sector, she found her ideal role as a consultant. In the meantime, Jessica has worked successfully on various projects. She continues to grow and has built a strong know-how in both non-life and life insurance. She combines her role as a consultant with that of a young mother.

A change agent with expertise
Sebastiaan started his career as a claims manager. Soon, he was also deployed to provide training. Later, he evolved to the role of consultant. He prefers to spend his free time with his wife and two children. When he really needs oxygen, you can find him on the golf course.

Thomas Ortmann
A go-getter, both in sport and in the job
Thomas started his career in an operational role within Life and Healthcare. Gradually, he evolved into the role of project consultant. At Oxygen, he works as a business analyst on digitalisation and robotisation of processes. As an ultrarunner, a marathon is no more than a fun run for Thomas.

“A healthy mind in a healthy body”. That was what it was all about during this Oxygen Day. After lunch, we listened to top sports coach Paul van den Bosch with his fascinating talk about the professional as ‘Egopreneur’. We then worked in small groups on an interesting business case and ended with a drink and delicious tapas in Mechelen. What a successful Oxygen Day once again.

To reward the team for their efforts in a difficult period (damn you Corona!), we organised a cosy evening at the Melkhuisje in Bonheiden. Having a nice meal together and putting our brains to work solving an escape box, that makes us happy. Doesn’t it, Sam? 😉

How to organise a coronaproof team event? That is the question we asked ourselves, along with probably many others. As far as we are concerned, the answer is clear: a boat trip on the fantastic “Schelde”, of course! And oh, it was so good to see everyone again.

This week we put our colleagues in the spotlight for a day, literally! We organised a day of photo shoots and video shoots to give our website a personal touch. And I can assure you, besides their job at Oxygen, many of them would not be out of place in Hollywood 😉.
Breathing Oxygen – 03/2021
While my colleagues work hard for our customers, I go and get some oxygen in the mountains. A well-deserved holiday is necessary from time to time, but I won’t forget you. I’ll bring back a thermos of oxygen, that’s a promise 😉.

Yes, we are shining, with good reason, because we have won a new project and that deserves to be celebrated. With coffee, because it is still early, but believe us, we are already floating enough here.
