On April 29, we hosted our quarterly Oxygen Day at our Mechelen office. A dedicated moment where all consultants come together to connect, collaborate and keep growing as one team.
The day started with an informal breakfast, followed by a morning of focused work from the office. Working side by side, even while supporting different clients, reinforces collaboration and team spirit.
In the afternoon, we held our Team Meeting live, creating a more dynamic and interactive environment compared to the usual online format. Key updates included business performance, ongoing assignments, the Young Talent graduation weekend and important policy updates.
The highlight of the day was a keynote session by AI expert Jan Fruytier, focusing on AI literacy in a professional context.
The session provided practical and immediately applicable insights:
Understanding what AI really does and where its limits are
Using AI as a productivity tool while staying in control
Being aware of risks such as incorrect outputs and data sensitivity
Applying AI effectively in daily tasks such as communication and structuring information
The key message was clear: AI is not about the tool itself, but about how consciously and responsibly it is used.
We concluded the day with an informal networking moment, enjoying freshly prepared paella together.
Oxygen Days are an essential part of how we invest in our people. By combining learning, connection and real-world application, we ensure our consultants continue to grow and deliver value to our clients.
