Concept of the program
Making the transition from student to consultant is quite a step. The Young Talent Program supports you in this challenge. After 6 months you will be a proud professional Oxygen consultant!
Training & Growth: Getting the hang of the insurance industry and the job of consultant
Understanding the role, structures and basic processes of insurance is a first building block. What exactly does your role as a consultant entail? How do you deal with clients and how do you best approach your assignment? You will learn it all in the extensive training program spread over the first few months.
You never walk alone: Start your first assignments under the wings of experienced mentors
Exciting! You will get to work at an insurance company, a broker or work on a project led by Oxygen. But of course you are not on your own: your project mentor will closely follow up on you and you can always contact your personal mentor. The Oxygen Homebase supports you in all practical matters and you regularly exchange experiences with your colleagues.
Orientation: your personal growth path
Do you feel at ease in the operations departments at insurers, helping the customers directly.
Or do you prefer a project approach, redesigning processes or implementing new digital tools to improve the way of working?
At Oxygen both paths are possible. We support and facilitate your personal growth path.

The Oxygen Young Talent Journey
First week of October: Kick-off
- We talk together about the Oxygen DNA: our drive, our vision, mission and values.
- You’ll discover which things keep us busy every day: how the insurance industry works and which challenges in the sector we will tackle together.
- Team building
October – January:
- Your first assignment at the client
- Guidance by your Oxygen mentor
- Training on a (bi-) weekly basis about:
- Insurance products, market & trends
- ICT & digitalization in insurance
- Consulting and human skills:
- Professional communication & behaviour
- Stakeholder management
- Presentation techniques
- Project roles
- Fun events & teambuilding
February: Graduation off-site
Orientation: after graduation we explore together your personal growth path

- Together with you we design, support and facilitate your personal career path.
